The Victoria Chinatown Care Centre is a long-term centre facility that has the ability in the future to utilize the lot adjacent to our property for the expansion of other care services for our community. About a year ago we engaged with WES, to ensure an environmentally safe site as we began to remediate the site in preparation for development. During this past year, WES worked to ensure a clean and ready site, where historically it was used for a range of auto sales and servicing purposes. The WES team provided the leadership, guidance, and project management where we are so pleased to have achieved a completion of Phase 2 requirements, to adhere to required standards. Thank you, WES, for the professionalism, expertise, and support of our non-profit society to achieve this readiness and commitment to continuing with us as we develop the site. WES are experienced, responsive, timely and cost effective in their work. WES also assisted in keeping to our budgets knowing we are all serving the elders in our community on a volunteer basis.
